I’ve been everything from a roadie-cum-stage lighting person with a punk rock band to a van driver and right up to a director of a company that I formed with another guy in 2005. These days I take things a little slower. I still do some copywriting for a couple of firms involved in the manufacturing of equipment for (mainly) the construction industries. This involves writing press releases, blogs, articles, case studies, award entries etc.
 

I also write fiction. My masterpiece is a novella entitled ‘Nicholas’ which is a light-hearted ‘coming of age’ tale about a boy with a mystery in his past. It’s available on Amazon for a small fee click here to read the paperback or download it to your device.
 

I also am a ‘Reading Buddy’ volunteer at a local primary school. I read with children of varying ages and abilities. I will one day write my memories of my time at the school, there are lots of funny tales to tell!

 I belong to the Greensands Writer’s group, a friendly bunch of people that create some wonderful stories – www.greensandswriters.wixsite.com/website. Anyone regardless of ability is welcome to join. We meet on Zoom or Ring Central, so you don’t even have to leave the comforts of your own home!
